Julianne Thompson
Julianne Thompson is a well-respected political analyst. She is a proven professional in the field of messaging, media, and grassroots advocacy. A nationally recognized coalition builder, she works with candidates, issues-based organizations and corporations with targeted messaging and legislative lobbying and has built a strong network of activists that spans not only Georgia, but also the United States.
Julianne is a well-respected expert on political trends and conservative messaging. She has spearheaded and organized forums and seminars throughout Georgia and the Untied States on a broad range of issues including: free markets, infrastructure, transportation, diversified energy options, healthcare, immigration, threat of terrorism, rural broadband access, and campaigning and governing as a conservative in a digital age.
She is the Co-Founder of the Capitol Coalition of Conservative Leaders, Georgia’s largest political coalition collectively representing more than one million Georgians. Her experience as an activist leader in the trenches gives her considerable credibility with activists and voters, as well as elected officials.
Julianne served as a legislative aide to the US House of Representatives Judiciary Committee and Subcommittee on the Constitution. She is former Communications Director and Press Secretary of the Georgia Republican Party.
Julianne has received two Gubernatorial appointments, and has been listed in Who’s Who Among Outstanding Young Women in America. In 2012 she was recognized for her ability to reach across party lines receiving the Democracy Award from Common Cause of Georgia for her bi-partisan work on ethics reform and helping to pass the most comprehensive ethics package in Georgia history.
Julianne has been appointed to the National Advisory Boards of two Presidential campaigns and in 2012 was selected as one of Georgia’s 16 Presidential Electors.

Julianne graduated Magna Cum Laude from Liberty University and studied for her MA in Broadcast Journalism at Regent University. She lives in metro-Atlanta with her husband, Jason and their two children.
BJ Van Gundy
BJ Van Gundy has over 25 years of experience as a political adviser and government relations consultant. He has advised political candidates for office on the local, state, and national levels with he greatest highlight being a national adviser to a front runner Presidential candidate during the 2012 election and a presidential State of Georgia grassroots coordinator during 2016.
BJ has held numerous grassroots officer positions within the Republican Party from county chairman of one of the largest counties in Georgia, to congressional district chairman of the 6th and 7th districts of Georgia, to vice chairman of the Georgia Republican Party. He is a five-time National Delegate to Republican Presidential nominating conventions since 1976.
Over the last 20 years BJ has provided government relations consulting services to banking, insurance, technology, and social issues organizations at state capitols and in Washington, DC.
In more recent years, his humorous and thoughtful approach to the issues of the day as well as his cordial demeanor and comfort in relating to politicians at all levels, has brought Van Gundy many invitations to provide Master of Ceremonies and debate moderation services.
In addition to his political and governmental experience, BJ has over 20 years of analytical, management, and strategic planning experience associated with all aspects of program and business management including significant experience with the development of large scale training program applications such as those required for significantly sized government SAP and Oracle implementations. He has served in advisory roles to senior leadership of state level departments and C level department heads in Dekalb, Fulton, and Cobb Counties, and the City of Atlanta.
BJ’s love of technology originates from his Georgia Tech Industrial Management degree history and has created an almost obsessive relationship with data mining that helps realize and develop “pictures” from multi-million record data files in order to assist clients with marketing, process, and strategic development.
Van Gundy is an alumnus of The Georgia Institute of Technology, a Boy Scout Assistant Scout Master, board member of the Norcross Youth Athletic Association, a former board chairman of the Georgia Charter School Association, and a past State of Georgia Charter School Commissioner. BJ lives in metro-Atlanta with his wife, Christy and their 4 children.
